Antitumor effects of cord blood T cells are mediated through alloreactivity. (A) Tumor regression was observed in mice receiving allogeneic CB T cells. Tumor size in mice receiving autologous CB T cells exceeded 10 mm, and hence these mice were euthanized. This observation suggests that antitumor effects against B-cell lymphoma are an allo-reactive effect and not an EBV-specific response. All images are shown on 1 scale (range: 1.00e8-1.00e9 photons/s/cm2/sr). (B) Tumor bioluminescence (photons/s/cm2/sr) was measured using Xenogen-IVIS, and (C) tumor volume (mm3) was derived using caliper measurements.
