Platelets are not associated with dying parasites during nonresolving, eCM-eliciting PbA in C57BL/6 mice. The analyses were performed in thin blood films fluorescence labeled with anti-CD41 (blue: platelets) and ethidium bromide (red: parasites) and TUNEL (green).
