IL-6–induced tyrosine phosphorylation of gp130 interrupted by IFN-β. gp130 was immunoprecipitated from lysates prepared from 1 × 10⁷ U266 cells treated with IFN-β (500 U/mL) for 50 minutes or without followed by induction with or without IL-6 (25 ng/mL) for 10 minutes. Immunoblotting was performed with both anti-pTyr MoAb and anti-gp130. Arrow indicates the position of gp130.
