Thrombin generation by monolayers of serum-starved and serum-maintained VSMCs. VSMC-myc cells were grown in monolayers in 6-well plates. Once confluent, they were washed and then incubated with 0% or 10% serum for 4 hours. After a second washing, the thrombin-generating reaction was performed in each well.
