Western blot analysis of Bax and Bcl-x levels in JLP 119 and EW-36. Total cell extracts from 50,000 cells were loaded in each lane. The figures show typical immunoblot results obtained using a polyclonal antibody to human Bax or human Bcl-x (see the Materials and Methods). The cell line BJAB was found to express high levels of bcl-x_L and is shown as a positive control.
