Agarose gel electrophoresis (A) and autoradiography (B) of Southern blot of 15-PGDH and β-actin products from total RNA extracted from neonatal monocytes as described in the Materials and Methods. RT-PCR using 15-PGDH primers P27 and P850 and β-actin primers Acts 383 and Acts 1404, in the same tube, was performed on total RNA from unstimulated and 1,25-(OH)₂D₃ –stimulated cells after 1 week (lanes 1 and 2).
