The E in the B* bar represent naive E reacted with biotinylated antiCR1 MoAb 7G9 followed by SA followed by biotinylated mouse IgG; the B' designation denotes biotinylated E reacted with SA followed by biotinylated mouse IgG. The star by B indicates that the percent phagocytosis was very low (3 independent experiments) and the bars were included for clarity. The table displays the total number of mouse antibodies (MsIgG/E) and rabbit antimouse antibodies (RaIgG/E) bound per E. Results in Fig 4 represent different experiments from those in Fig 3.
