Four-color combinations of reagents specific for c-Kit, CD44, CD25, and CD4+CD8 mixture were used to discriminate three fractions in CD4/CD8 double negative thymocytes. In BM, three-color combinations with c-Kit, Sca-1, and a lineage mixture were used to discriminate two fractions associated with Kit and Sca-1 expression in Lin-cells. Similar results were obtained in three other experiments.$
