The effect of dilazep on TF activity on HUVECs stimulated with varying concentrations of TNF, thrombin, or PMA. HUVECs were treated for 5 hours with varying concentrations of each stimulant. (A) TNF (0 to 2,500 U/mL), (B) thrombin (0 to 250 U/mL), and (C) PMA (0 to 250 nmol/L) in the presence (•) or absence (○) of 100 μg/mL dilazep. TF activity on HUVEC surface was determined as factor Xa generation (A_405nm /20 minutes) using S2222 (see the Materials and Methods). The values represent the mean ± SD of four independent experiments.
