Fig. 6. Extracellular adenosine triggers cAMP accumulation in mouse splenocytes. DBA-2 mouse splenocytes at 5 × 106 cells/mL were preincubated on ice for 10 minutes with IBMX (50 μmol/L) and then distributed into wells of a 48-well plate and incubated (in 200 μL per well) with different concentrations of adenosine at 37°C for 60 minutes. The cAMP levels in cell extracts were estimated by enzyme-linked immunoassay as described in the Materials and Methods.
