Determination of cell cycle distribution of representative TF-1 transfectants in the presence or absence of IL-3. Cells were stained with propidium iodide at the indicated times and analyzed for cell cycle distribution by flow cytometry. The 2N and 4N DNA containing cells are in the 400 and 800 fluorescence channels, respectively. The percentage of cells with subdiploid DNA content is indicated in each panel. Similar profiles were obtained from the PKC₁ and PKCδ₈ transfectants. For all cell lines, 10⁴ cells were counted for each analysis, and the experiments were performed twice with similar results each time.
