Platelets were labelled with FITC-4A5 monoclonal antibody and analyzed by flow cytometry. A vertical gate was set to detect the percentage of large platelets, defined to be larger than 99% of platelets of control mice. Note the higher percentage of large platelets in the MGDF-treated mice compared with control mice.
