Sensitivity of KSHV PCR. Lanes 1 through 8 contain 10-fold dilutions of BCBL-1 DNA from 1 μg (lane 1) to 0.1 pg (lane 8). BCBL-1 DNA was diluted in the KSHV-negative XG-1 MM cell line DNA so that all the PCR were run on 1 μg of total DNA. (A) Ethidium bromide-stained agarose gel of the 233-bp amplification products.
