Mice were sensitized in vivo with OVA, the draining lymph node cells were left unstimulated (−) or restimulated in vitro with 1 mg/mL of OVA for 6 hours and the total cellular RNA was analyzed by RNase protection assay for cytokine mRNA levels. The detected cytokines (IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, IL-13, IL-2, and IFN-γ) and the housekeeping genes (L32 and GAPDH) are indicated. These results are representative of experiments using three different pairs of wild-type and NFAT1-deficient mice.
