Epitope density profiles of samples with the three D^VI types and with normal RhD. On the abscissa, ranges of epitope densities (sites/cell) as detected by various anti-D are given. On the ordinate, the number of anti-D representing the particular ranges of sites/cell are shown. One representative sample is shown for each D^VI type. Epitope density profiles obtained with four additional D^VI type I, six additional D^VI type II, and two additional D^VI type III samples were similar.
