Immunofluorescent localization of GAS6 in resting and PAF stimulated EC. EC on glass coverslips were treated for 10 minutes without (upper panel) or with (lower panel) PAF (10⁻⁷mol/L), fixed, permeabilized, immunostained as described in Materials and Methods, and observed using a laser scanning confocal microscope. Frames taken at 1-μm intervals along the Z axis were merged to obtain reconstructed images (600× final magnification).
