CD56⁺ cells from human blood are enriched in γδ T cells. (A) Freshly isolated CD56⁺ cells were stained for CD3 (SK7-PerCP-Cy5.5), αβ TCR (WT31-FITC), and γδ TCR (11F2-PE) and analyzed with a flow cytometer. Using plots of CD3 against FSC, CD3⁺ cells were gated (left) and then selectively analyzed for αβ TCR or γδ TCR expression (right). Selective gating of CD3^bright or CD3^low cells (left) identified γδ T cells and αβ T cells, respectively (right).
