Relative importance of p55 and p75 in the induction of leukocyte-EC adhesion molecules. (A) Quantitative real-time PCR was performed using total RNA (1 μg) isolated from TNF-α–treated or untreated cultured mouse aortic ECs isolated from WT, p55^−/−, p75^−/−, or D^−/− mice. PCR reactions were performed with specific primer pairs corresponding to the specific genes of interest. RPL-32 (a TNF-α nonresponsive gene) served as an internal control to ensure the quality and efficiency of the PCR. Each value represents the average of 4 independent experiments.
