(A) Expression of galectin-1 in freshly isolated and in vitro–activated mouse CD4⁺CD25⁻ and CD4⁺CD25⁺ T-cell populations by Western blot analysis. Samples were prepared from total-cell lysates obtained from fresh and activated T cells stimulated by anti-CD3ϵ antibody and T-cell–depleted antigen-presenting cells. The membrane was blotted with anti–mouse galectin-1 mAb (clone 201002; R&D Systems).
