Active caspase-1 and -3 are present inside microvesicles from immature and mature DCs. Immature and mature DCs from 3 different donors were seeded in culture flasks at a concentration of 10⁶/mL and stimulated with 200 μM BzATP in sucrose solution at 37°C. Microvesicles from both immature (○) and mature (□) DCs were recovered and assayed for caspase-1 (A-C) or caspase-3 (D-F) content.
