Th1, Th2, and activated CD8⁺ T cells are chemoattracted by Fas-ligated DCs in vitro. Th1 and Th2 cells (A) prepared in vitro were stained with CD4-FITC or CD4-PE, respectively, and mixed at a ratio of 1:1, and activated CD8⁺ T cells (B) prepared in vitro were stained with CD8-PE, and these cells were tested for their chemoattraction to 10-fold diluted DC supernatant by in vitro chemotaxis assay (n = 3). Numbers of migrated cells were analyzed by FACS. Mixed Th1 and Th2 cells were used as a standard, and RPMI 1640 culture medium was used as a negative control. ^*P < .05.
