Effect of anti–IL-1α, anti–IL-1β, and anti–TNF-α MoAbs on TF activity by HUVEC cocultured with monocytes. The MoAbs, each at 10 μg/mL, were incubated with HUVEC 15 minutes before incubation with monocytes or supernatant from HUVEC/M coculture. After 4 hours, the cells were washed and processed for TF activity assay, as described in Materials and Methods. Results are expressed in percent of TF activity. A 100% value was assigned to the activity expressed by HUVEC incubated with monocytes (A) or supernatant from HUVEC/M coculture (B).
