Effect of anti-CD18 on TF activity, IL-1β, and TNF-α levels during HUVEC/M cocultures. HUVEC (2 × 105/well) were incubated with monocytes (4 × 105/well) in the presence or in the absence of anti-CD18 or anti-CD1 for 4 hours. At the end of incubation, supernatants were collected and IL-1β and TNF-α antigen levels were measured by ELISA assay. After washing, HUVEC monolayers were tested for TF activity as described. Results are expressed in percent of TF activity, and percent of IL-1β and TNF-α antigen levels. A 100% value was assigned to the activity and antigen levels expressed by HUVEC/M coculture in the absence of anti-CD18.
