Multiple Fas-resistant Jurkat sublines are sensitive to a variety of chemotherapeutic agents. The indicated cell lines were treated with 7C11 anti-Fas (100 ng/mL, 3 hours), etoposide (34 μmol/L, 6 hours), doxorubicin (0.5 μmol/L, 24 hours), topotecan (0.1 μmol/L, 24 hours), or cisplatin (1 μmol/L, 48 hours) at 37°C. DNA content was then determined by flow cytometry after propidium iodide staining. The percentage of hypodiploid cells (mean ± SD) observed in three independent experiments is graphed.
