The amidolytic activity (micromoles per liter of pNA released per minute) of various concentrations (0.125 to 1.0 μmol/L) of F.IX (▾) HNE-treated F.IX (○) and F.IX incubated with F.XIa (•) was determined from the initial rates of hydrolysis of 1 mmol/L CH3SO2-LGR-pNA peptide using a SpectroMax 250 Plate Reader to record the absorbance values at 405 nm.
