Endothelial IL-8 suppressed growth of subcutaneous K562 cell tumors. The subepiderms of nude mice (10 examined per group) were inoculated K562 cells, and agents were injected with endothelial IL-8 (IL-8 [E]), monocyte-derived IL-8 (IL-8 [M]), saline, and TNF- daily as described in Materials and Methods.
