Quantitative assessment of the types of leukocytes found on VCAM-1–coated cover slips (5 μg/mL) after perfusion of whole blood at different shear forces. Cover slips were differentially stained and analyzed for the presence of neutrophils, eosinophils, lymphocytes, and monocytes. Data is shown as the percentage of total leukocytes found on the cover slips. Total leukocyte counts are the actual number of leukocytes observed per mm².
