IL-10 reduces SEB induction of c-fos and c-jun proteins in CD4⁺ T cells. PBMCs were incubated in 6-well plates at 6 × 10⁵ cells/mL with media alone, SEB (100 pg/mL), or IL-10 (10 U/mL) and SEB. Cells were incubated for 45 minutes, harvested, and subjected to flow cytometry analysis. Data were gated to analyze CD4⁺ T cells. Results were determined to be statistically significant by the Student’s t-test (P< .01 for c-fos and P < .0005 for c-jun). These values represent net effects after the subtraction of relative fluorescent intensity for untreated cells.
