P185 Bcr-Abl point mutants all associate with GCKR. p185 Bcr-Abl wild-type and mutant protein expression vectors (4 μg each) were transfected into HEK 293T cells (2 × 10⁶) along with the HA-GCKR expression vector (2 μg). The association of Bcr-Abl point mutants with GCKR was examined by HA-immunoblotting anti-Abl immunoprecipitates. The presence of the p185 Bcr-Abl mutants in the immunoprecipitates was verified by immunoblotting with the immunoprecipitating antibody. The levels of expression of the Bcr-Abl mutants and HA-GCKR in the cell lysates are shown below. All the immunoblots were detected by ECL.
