The clearance of transferred BrdU-labeled PMN from the circulation of recipients. The fractions of the transfused BrdU-labeled PMN 1 hour after blood transfusion were similar in both dexamethasone-treated and control rabbits. In controls, BrdU-labeled PMN in the circulation gradually decreased and almost disappeared by 24 hours after treatment.
