Western immunoblot detection of plasma TM. Citrated murine plasma from TM^wt/wt and TM^cyt/cyt mice (lanes A and B, respectively) in Laemmli buffer was separated electrophoretically by SDS-PAGE under nonreducing conditions, and the gel was transferred to a nitrocellulose filter for immuno-detection of TM with specific monoclonal anti-TM antibodies, as detailed in Materials and Methods. Molecular weight markers are on the left. Several molecular forms of TM were identified, the most prominent of which are noted with arrows on the right. No differences in patterns between the two lanes could be discerned.
