Logarithmically growing COS-1 cells were incubated with [³⁵S]-methionine for 2 hours, and the cell lysates were subjected to immunoprecipitation with 2D10 or rabbit polyclonal anti-Rh; the immunoprecipitates were then separated by 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions (for details, see Materials and Methods).
