Induction of MEFV during granulocytic differentiation of HL-60 cells.

HL-60 cells were incubated with 1.25% (v/v) DMSO to induce granulocytic differentiation. Total RNAs were isolated at the indicated times (hours) and subjected to semiquantitative RT-PCR and hybridization with specific oligonucleotides for MEFV and β-actin. PCR products were amplified for 25 cycles (MEFV) and 20 cycles (β-actin) to stay within the linear range.
