Normal untreated RBCs (Normal), RBCs treated with 0.5 mmol/L CaCl2, and 2 μmol/L A23187 (PS), or sickle RBCs (SS) were labeled with annexin V-FITC (solid bars), or with MAb OKM5 against CD36 (striped bars) or 1F4 against band 3 peptide 3d (shaded bars) and subsequently with antimouse/PE, and analyzed by FACS.
