Panel B demonstrates the percentage of platelets positive for COAT-FV (abscissa) and annexin-V (ordinate) on stimulation with 5 nmol/L thrombin and the convulxin concentration depicted in the plot. Data are extracted from Figures 3B and 6A. Panel C represents dual labeling of platelets stimulated with convulxin plus thrombin as described in “Materials and methods.” The abscissa (FL3) depicts biotin-HFV-237/streptavidin TRI-COLOR binding, and the ordinate (FL2) represents PE–annexin-V binding. Events in region R1 are positive for both annexin-V and FV.
