RAG-1 expression is preferentially suppressed in estrogen-treated mice.

Early pro-B cells (CD45R⁺CD43⁺CD24⁺BP-1⁻sIgM⁻) were sorted from control and E2-treated BALB/c mice. Total RNA representing 10⁴ cell equivalents was reverse transcribed into cDNA, followed by RT-PCR using previously published primers. The data represent autoradiographs of PCR products after membrane transfer and hybridization with appropriate³²P-labeled probes or ethidium-stained bands. Similar results were obtained in 3 independent experiments.
