Phagocytosis and MLCK activity inhibition by MLCK inhibitor ML-7.

PMNLs were incubated for 10 minutes at 37°C with the indicated concentrations of ML-7, then challenged with EIgG for 30 minutes (phagocytosis) or 5 minutes (MLCK activity). EIgG that were not ingested were hypotonically lysed, and phagocytosis samples were fixed with glutaraldehyde for microscopic quantitation. MLCK activity was measured as described for Figure 1.
