Platelets activated on collagen were incubated overnight with THP-1 cell–derived TF particles.
The platelet-particle hybrids were then double stained: TF particles on platelets were visualized by anti-TF pAb followed by staining with a secondary goat antirabbit antibody conjugated to PE. The platelets were simultaneously stained by an FITC-conjugated mAb directed against GPIIb. (A) Confocal microscopy reveals TF particles stained red. (B) GPIIb on platelets were stained green.
