Glucocorticoids antagonize LCL growth inhibition induced by the RAR selective agonist Ro 40-6055.

Concentrations of Dex and HC, ranging from 10⁻⁶ to 10⁻⁷ mol/L, efficiently antagonized the antiproliferative effects exerted by 10⁻⁷ and 10⁻⁸ mol/L Ro 40-6055 on DAA-3 LCLs. Cell proliferation was evaluated after 7 days in SFM alone (center). The results of 1 representative experiment out of 3 are shown. Each histogram represents the mean plus or minus SD of values obtained from triplicate wells.
