The full-length ZNF198–FGFR1 fusion proteins contain either 4 or 10 ZNF198 zinc fingers (depending on isoform), a ZNF198 proline-rich region, and the FGFR1 tyrosine kinase domain. One or more of these domains is deleted in each of the truncated fusion proteins. The fusion constructs were subcloned into the MSCV retrovirus vector or were tagged with HA or MYC and subcloned into the pcDNA 3.1 vector.
