Immunoblot analysis of HIF-1α protein expression in HepG2 cells.

HepG2 cells were treated with the epolones pycnidione, 8-methyl-pyridoxatin, and CPX (8 μmol/L) as well as with CoCl₂ (100 μmol/L) for 4 hours under normoxic (20% oxygen) or hypoxic (1% oxygen) conditions. HIF-1α protein was detected by immunoblotting of nuclear extracts using the monoclonal anti–HIF-1α antibody mgc3.14
