Effect on tumor growth of vitamin D3 in immunodeficient mice.
Equal numbers of KS Y-1 cells (5 × 106) were inoculated in mice, and 1α,25 dihydroxyvitamin D3 was administered intraperitoneally daily for the duration of the experiment. Tumor measurements were done every other day until day 12. The results represent the mean tumor volume of 6 mice in each group.
