Microvascular bleeding times were measured in anemic rabbits 1 hour after infusion (left panel) of o-raffinose CLHb, 5% human serum albumin (HSA), phenylephrine (Phen), or nothing (0). For the CLHb and HSA groups, bleeding-time assessments were repeated 24 hours after infusion (right panel).
