CLHb shortened the microvascular bleeding time in thrombocytopenic rabbits.

Microvascular bleeding times were measured in thrombocytopenic rabbits 1 hour after infusion (left panel) with o-raffinose CLHb, 5% HSA, Phen, or nothing (0). For the CLHb and HSA groups, bleeding-time assessments were repeated 24 hours after infusion (right panel). Exact bleeding times are shown for data below the dotted line.
