Metabolic inhibitors do not induce down-regulation of other surface molecules with soluble isoforms expressed in neutrophils.

Surface expression of CD16 and CD59, 2 glycophosphoinositol lipid-anchored surface molecules, and L-selectin were determined by flow cytometry in neutrophils incubated in the absence (medium) of presence of metabolic inhibitors (azide+2-DG) for 30 minutes at 37°C.
