Effects of various retinoid compounds on FR-β expression in KG-1 cells.
(A) KG-1 cells were treated with ATRA, 9-cis-RA, LG101093, LG100364, or TTNPB at a concentration of 1 μmol/L or with the vehicle alone for 5 days. Lysates from 1 × 106 cells from each sample were probed on Western blots with rabbit anti–FR-β antibody and AP-conjugated secondary antibody. (B) KG-1 cells were treated with different concentrations (10−7 or 10−6 mol/L) of CD2665 and CD2503, either alone or in combination with ATRA (1 × 108 mol/L), for 5 days. The cell lysates from each sample were subjected to Western blot analysis as in panel A. (C) KG-1 cells were treated with CD336 or LG101093 at a concentration of 10−7 mol/L, either alone or in combination with CD2665 or CD2503 (10−6 mol/L). The cell lysates were analyzed as in panel A.
