Abrogation of presentation of SL-encapsulated OVA in
TAP1(−/−) mice. Mouse BmDC were generated from wild-type (B6) and TAP1(−/−) mice, and cells were transferred to new wells on day 6. OVA-SL at 10 μg/mL or empty SL were added on day 7. On day 8, cells were harvested, washed, and added in graded doses to 3 × 105 CD8+ T cells from OT-1 mice. After 24 hours, T-cell proliferation was assayed by thymidine uptake, and mean cpm × 10−3 ± SEM of triplicate cultures from a representative experiment are shown.
