Following washing, the column was eluted with 2 mg/mL unlabeled fibrinogen, and fractions of 200 μL were collected. Approximately 90% of the bound radioactivity eluted in fraction 10 to 12. These fractions were pooled, and an aliquot was electrophoresed on a 7% SDS-PAGE gel and used to prepare autoradiograms (inset).
