Effect of anti-vWF monoclonal antibodies on shear-induced platelet aggregation.
Shear-induced aggregation in platelet-rich plasma was measured in the absence of antibodies or after pre-incubating the sample with 25 μg/mL antibody (final concentration) for 5 minutes at ambient temperature before the application of shear at 40, 90, or 120 dynes/cm2.
