In vivo administration of a synthetic MMPi blocks AdSDF-1–induced peripheral blood platelet increases.

The MMPi CGS-27023A was administered subcutaneously at 300 μg/mouse twice a day to Balb/c mice. Control mice were injected with an identical volume of control diluent, and platelet counts were determined over the course of the experiment. ▪, AdSDF-1; ■, AdSDF-1 plus MMPi; ▴, AdNull; ▵, AdNull plus MMPi.
